The Extraordinary Life Of Jimmie Dandelion

from Monster & Minstrel by Ahmond

/

lyrics

Jimmie had a revelation
Down the barrel of a plastic gun
He said, “It’s time that we got real,
So baby, don’t show me those tears.”
“I don’t need a consultation
With no discount insurance plan.
Why should I pay to tell my tale cause friends, they don’t listen too well?”
“The barrel of my real gun
Will meet the barrel of their plastic guns.
The barrel of my real gun
Will meet the barrel of their plastic guns.”
Jimmie doesn’t know of closets
He doesn’t tell a lot of lies
But Jimmie knows a lot of dancing
Jimmie knows a lot about crime
Got into a confrontation
Taking blows from Adonis clones
Armed with a stolen gun from the drama club
They all humbly changed attire
(Jimmie, Jimmie get the gun)
They say you’re not right
Jimmie get the gun and prove them wrong
You’ve got the right to bear arms
You’ve got the right to bare it all
Gonna make a grown man cry
Make him pick up the dress and put it on
The barrel of a real gun
Will meet the barrel of a plastic gun
Jimmie had a revelation
It sent a shudder down his spine,
“If plastic guns can make tough boys wear dresses
What else can fear decide?”
(Jimmie get the gun)
(Repeat Chorus)
